The Rock Creek Hills Citizens’ Association Board sends warms wishes to all of our neighbors this holiday season. The RCHCA Board is thankful to all the residents who volunteer their time and effort to make our Association work for you. We are proud to say that this year’s Halloween event was even better than last year’s and it is due to a few hard workers, the Greaney family, the Statland family and to Grace Graham for arts and crafts. We look forward to a successful Potluck Dinner on Saturday, January 26th. Please bring the whole family. RCHCA will provide babysitting during the business meeting.
New Board Nominations. We shall elect the 2002 Board at the January 26th meeting. Shannon Hamm, Irene Glowinski, and Mark Schweizer are chairing the Nominating committee and have received several residents’ names interested in serving on the Board or in chairing a committee. This year, the President and Vice President are stepping down. Please consider contacting any member of the Nominating committee if you have an interest in serving on the Board.
New Directories were published in March 2001. If you did not receive one, or lost one, there will be extras at the January 26th potluck dinner.
Another reminder that our January Association meeting
will coincide with our Third Annual Potluck Dinner on January 26, 2002 beginning
at 6:30 p.m. We will be introducing
new neighbors, acknowledging our 2001 Annual Holiday Decoration award recipients
and holding a short but necessary business meeting to vote in our 2002 Board.
Rock Creek Hills Citizen’s Association will provide
the main dishes (hams, meat platters, etc), drinks and the paper goods, however
guests should bring side dishes. Residents may help by bringing the following: Families
whose last names begin with A-M should bring a side dish; families whose last
names end in N-Z should bring dessert.
If you want to help set up, please call Shannon Hamm or show up at Grace Episcopal Day School at 6:00 p.m.
